Neurodivergent brains come with great strengths — and real challenges.
This FAQ is designed to make things simple, practical, and stress-free.
Explore the answers below to learn how coaching works, who it’s for, and how it can support your life, your goals, and your unique brain.

Clarity.
Strategy.
Confidence.
Progress.

Do I need an ADHD or dyslexia diagnosis to work with you?

No.
Many clients come to coaching before they receive a formal diagnosis.
If you identify with ADHD, dyslexia or AuDHD traits and want support now, you’re welcome.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is future-focused.
We work on practical strategies, habits and systems to help you move forward.
Therapy often explores the past, emotions and deeper psychological patterns.
Both are valuable — coaching is about action and tools you can apply right away.

Who do you work with?

I coach:

Adults with ADHD, dyslexia or AuDHD

Students in college/university

Professionals navigating work challenges

People newly diagnosed

People who suspect they may be neurodivergent

If you’re struggling with focus, planning, organisation or overwhelm, we can work together.

How does a coaching session work?

Sessions are relaxed, confidential and structured around your goals.
We explore what’s working, what’s not, and develop strategies you can take into your day, week or workplace.
You’ll leave with next steps — not a list of things to feel guilty about.

Do you meet online or in person?

Both.
Most coaching takes place online via video, which allows flexibility across Scotland and the UK.
Limited in-person sessions may be available in Glasgow depending on scheduling.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies.
Some people benefit from 3–6 sessions; others choose ongoing support.
We’ll agree what feels right for your goals — no pressure, no lock-ins.

What kinds of challenges can coaching help with?

Common areas include:

organisation & planning

procrastination & decision-making

overwhelm & burnout

study/work strategies

communication & confidence

routines that actually stick

rebuilding belief after years of masking
